Castles in the Air

 
Looking at the way in which leaders of the largest parties are prepping for the coming (self)elections, it is hard to escape the impression that they are hauling diverse used timber to patch together a castle suspended on a chain attached to the "Heavenly Kingdom", lest they would sink in the gaping quick mud.
The plan of the authorities seems to be firmly counting on the fact that the citizens and the society have lost hope that beams to build a bridge to a normal life, which is what they strove for during their fight for constituent assembly and constitutional democracy, can be planted in Serbia.
Maybe these elections will awake the voters to the reality
that road to salvation of the people and that of the government differ considerably, and that not everything lies in hands of the ruler. We will witness this in the course of the election campaign, also.
